Comparing points-and-miles value across loyalty programs usually means bouncing between airline sites, blog posts, and spreadsheets just to figure out which currency books a given route cheapest. I built Award Optimizer to do that work in one click — the tool I wanted to exist.

I would rather you judged this site on what you can check than on anything I say about myself. Every award figure comes from award-data.js, a single file in the public repository, and each program row records when it was last verified and against which source. Where a number is genuinely contested — Citi’s transfer-partner total, for instance — the data says so rather than quietly picking the flattering figure.

When we get something wrong, the correction is written down. In August 2026 our Flying Blue transatlantic business rate was understated by 10,000 miles, and our American Airlines Hawaii figures sat below every rate the airline publishes. Both are fixed, and the reasoning sits in the data file rather than being overwritten. Automated checks run on every change and refuse to publish a figure that disagrees with the source it cites.

That is the credential on offer here: not a byline, but a method you can audit.
